
First Aid for Mental Health
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition – yourselves, family member, friend or colleague. The First Aid for Mental Health training course allows businesses to create dedicated contacts within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.
This course introduces the Mental Health Action Plan, enabling learners to provide comprehensive guidance and aid to their colleagues facing mental health challenges
This course covers the impacts of substance abuse and empowers learners with the expertise needed to help employers establish a supportive mental health culture within the workplace, ensuring the well-being of employees.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition either themselves or a family member, friend or colleague.
This course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help employers to provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace and to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.
Assessment
Attendees will be observed and will need to be deemed confident and competent in all skills and knowledge.
Course Requirements
Candidates need a good understanding of English. Candidates must be physically able to demonstrate the practical skills required to complete the assessment.
